Leaving pets behind for business travel, a well-earned vacation, or simply working long days away from home can be challenging for both pets and their humans. In-home pet care reduces stress by giving your pets the security of staying in the comfort of their familiar environment. It is an alternative to boarding kennels, which are ideal for some pets but not all, and to burdening family and friends when you can’t be there.
BlueHound care begins with a complimentary meet and greet to see if it is a good fit for everyone. We collect important information about your pets including their background, regular veterinary clinic location, phobias or habits, whether the pet is a flight risk upon entering or departing, how the pet reacts to your absence, and favorite toys or hiding spots. Most importantly, we learn how to best make your pet the most comfortable while in our care.
